Cooldownmissouri.org and Cooldownstlouis.org Provide Resources to Storm Flood Victims
Cooldownmissouri.org and Cooldownstlouis.org have launched an effort to help Missouri victims of the
historic storm floods, earlier this week. They cover 44 Missouri and Illinois counties, and the City of St.
Louis. They will be assisting residents impacted by the recent storm floods, who were experiencing
difficulties paying their utility bills. They will expedite their applications and waive certain
documentation requirements on its Ameren Missouri and public donation funding, with the exception of
federal funding. The public can go online 24/7 at Cooldownmissouri.org or Cooldownstlouis.org for an
application. After their last name, the applicants are encouraged to use the word, “Flood” or “Storm”
which will help the two-state area charity move quicker in processing applicants, while funding lasts. For
further information for those without a mobile or computer to access an application, please call 314-
241-0001 for a Cooldownstlouis.org outreach site. All visitors must be masked.
