	I and/or my firm, my civic, club or church group would like to volunteer as a celebrity greeter for Hardee's Rise and Shine for Heat 2011 on Friday, February 11, (6-10 a.m.) for one hour or more.  Area Hardee's restaurants will sell Sausage and Egg Biscuit and Egg Biscuit sandwiches for the special price of $1.00 and the entire amount will go to Heat Up St. Louis. The celebrity greeters are stationed at various Hardee's throughout the Metropolitan (Missouri and Illinois) volunteering shifts of one hour or more. Volunteers will wear special aprons or be given a collection canister. They will collect additional donations in the drive-thru and dining rooms. At some locations, there are live media remotes. 	I and/or my firm, my civic, club or church group would like to volunteer for the 2010's Rams Boot Out Old Man Winter Fan Collection Fundraiser in and around the St. Louis Edward Jones Dome and at tailgate parties with business, civic and firefighter volunteers. Volunteers on November 21, will collect donations from Rams fans. In 2009, we raised about $20,000 before the game. Volunteers must have an outgoing personality and be assertive. You will be assigned a location and time in advance.  You can go back to our home page and get the official sign-up sheet and fax or e-mail back, or we will forward this form to the CITI coordinator for you. 	Sponsor A Fundraiser: Our company, civic or social group would love to put on a fundraiser for Heat-    Up St. Louis during the winter months, or Cool Down St. Louis during the summer months. Just, e-mail us your plans and idea, and we will consider providing a logo or support materials within the IRS definitions on our part.  Often the fundraisers can be independent of us, regionally, or locally. We cover 18 Missouri and Illinois Counties, including the City of St. Louis. We welcome your support. Chat with us at info@heatupstlouis.org.
	I and/or my firm, my civic, club or church group would like to volunteer at any fundraising event to assist in counting money under police protection. Previous or current experience is helpful.
	I and/or my firm, my civic, club or church group would like to volunteer to help answer the Resource Hotline in the summer or winter months, for a specific amount of time. I would like to work ____ hours per week, on _________________(day/days), during regular business hours, M-F, at the Volunteer Office at 1509 Washington Avenue. I understand that I will be given a script and a sheet to help direct the needy households for financial assistance with their heating bills. Volunteers must have patience.
	I and/or my firm, my civic, club or church group would like to volunteer to help with administrative and research chores for upcoming Heat-Up St. Louis special events. Also there may be direct mass-mailing work under the supervision of Emmis Communications at the KSHE studio in downtown St. Louis.
	I would like to Volunteer on Resource Hotline Saturdays only: If the Heat-Up St. Louis or Cool Down St. Louis hotline is open on weekends, I agree to have the hotline forwarded to my residence for at least a two-hour time period, if necessary, to accept calls and direct them. When completed, I will call a Heat Up St. Louis board member and he/she will return the hotline to voicemail, or another volunteer. Volunteers must have patience.
	I, and/or my firm, my civic, business or church group would like to volunteer and prepare materials and solicit special interest groups and congregations who are opposed to utility increases which often negatively impact the needy and the working poor. I will be available on an as-needed basis to help inform them of public hearings or solicit their help in getting petitions signed.
	I am available as an office volunteer to help with administrative chores, stuff direct-mail pieces for fundraising projects, data entry, phone bank, clerical support for thank you letters for donors and assist with the materials to be used for media or website coverage.
	I am available to help with support materials for Super Heat Weekend (Superbowl Religious Drive collection) mailers.
	I am available to assist with public relations activities during regular business hours setting up television, radio and newspaper interviews and features for special fundraising events, or assisting the Board PR, Marketing and Fundraising Committees in the development of projects.
	I would like to volunteer as a volunteer-coordinator for programmed and yet-to-be developed fundraising events, i.e., Schnucks, Wehrenberg Theaters, Blues, Rams, Cardinals , Hardee's fundraising events related to Heat-Up St. Louis and Spring or Summer fundraising events. We will call you for time availabilities, especially fundraising events which are not included above. We also do accept non-compensated College Internships. The volunteers will need to donate time and parking fees. All civic groups, businesses and college organizations are encouraged to help. You can help anytime, any hours between. We can work within your schedule in terms of volunteering, except for on-site fundraising events which are pre-scheduled.

*Hardee's and the Pasta House Co. often donate breakfast or luncheon coupons for each volunteer, while supplies last. Also special caps or, aprons and other support equipment/materials are donated for volunteer identification. Thank you.
